Shower Repairs Gold Coast
A shower with weak pressure, a mixer that drips or water showing up where it should not. Water coming through the ceiling below is emergency plumbing. We find the cause before we touch anything.

What goes wrong with a shower, and what fixes it
A weak or dripping shower is usually a worn part: the shower rose, the mixer cartridge, the diverter or a flexible connection. A blocked rose is the common cause of weak pressure, and we check it before looking further back in the pipework.
A leak around the shower is harder to read. Water at the wall or the floor can come from a pipe behind the wall, or from the shower area failing to keep water in, and waterproofing is a separate trade from plumbing. We tell you which it looks like. If it is a pipe, it is wider leak detection work. It is one part of our plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Signs a shower needs attention
Pressure that has dropped
A spray that is thin, uneven or weaker than it used to be.
A mixer that drips or will not hold its temperature
Often the cartridge inside it has worn out.
Water that never gets properly hot
The mixer, or the hot water system behind it, is not doing its job.
A stain, bubbling paint or damp patch near the shower
Water is getting out of the shower, and it should not wait long.
A diverter that sends water to the wrong place
The part that switches between outlets has worn.
The parts we repair
Shower roses and arms
The rose you stand under and the arm that carries it.
Mixer cartridges and handles
They control flow and temperature. A worn one leaks or sticks.
Diverters
They switch water between outlets, such as a rose and a spout.
Hoses and connections
Where the fittings join the pipework, at the rose or at the wall.
Water coming through a ceiling, or running that will not stop?
Call us now. That is emergency plumbing. A mixer that drips or a weak spray can wait for a booked visit.
