Using this website

The information here is general. It is not a quote and not advice for your particular property. We only know what a job needs once we have seen it.

We take care to keep the site accurate, but we may change it at any time. Please ask before copying our text, photos or logo. Links to other websites are for your convenience, and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Quotes and work

You get the price in writing before any work begins. If we find something the quote did not cover, we stop and tell you what it means before we touch it. If our workmanship ever fails, we will repair or redo the work, whichever we judge right for the job.

Our guarantee

The workmanship guarantee covers the work we carry out, for as long as you own the property. Anything we supply also carries its manufacturer's warranty, and we will help you claim on it. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Making a claim

To make a claim under the workmanship guarantee, contact us and tell us:

• the address of the job and roughly when we did the work
• what has gone wrong, with photos if you can
• the name and phone number to reach you on

Your consumer guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

to cancel your service contract with us; and

to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, and any dispute about them is for the courts of Queensland.
